Small RNAs | Chromatin
In the Rogers lab, we are interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate small RNA pathways and the fate of their target transcripts. The lab is investigating the impact of adverse environmental conditions on small RNA-mediated regulation and the physiological consequences of mis-regulation of small RNA pathways. We use the nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans, and employ genetics, experimental molecular biology, biochemistry, imaging, high-throughput sequencing, and bioinformatics techniques.
